A Thankful Heart

Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"

So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests."  And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks.  And he was a Samaritan.

So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed?  But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?"  And He said to him, "Arise, go your way.  Your faith has made you well." (Luke 17:11-19)

Giving thanks to God is an expression of faith.  Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and being certain of what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)

Victorious Confessions

Father, I thank You that I am renewed in the spirit of my mind as I wait only upon You; for my hope and expectation are from You. I daily receive the manifestation of Your Word in my life and I thank You Father that You have begun a good work in me, and You will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

I am a capable, intelligent, virtuous woman.  I live the overcoming life.  I live in daily expectation of abundance for my life.  Every need in my life is met.  I have a sound mind.  I live a long life because I am redeemed from the curse of the law.  I walk in divine health and healing is my covenant right.  I am redeemed from the curse of the law; because I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty, "No plague comes nigh my dwelling."

The devourer is rebuked off of my life and all that concerns me; he shall not destroy the fruit (children) of my ground, neither shall my vine cast its fruit before its appointed time, says the Lord of hosts.  He redeems my life from destruction; I overcome with my faith.

My mind is alert; my body is strong all the days of my life.  I live a life of purpose and fulfillment; I am a blessing to the kingdom of God.

In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Prayer of Dedication, Consecration, and Submission

Father, I pray the Prayer of Dedication, Consecration, and Submission. In every area of my life, I belong to You. Father, I’ll go where you want me to go, I’ll do what you want me to do. Not my will, but your will be done. Thank you, Father that you work in me both to will and to do of your good pleasure. You have a good plan for my life, a plan of peace and joy.

Father, what you want and what you desire is what I want; that is what I desire. Not my will, but your will for my life every day, Father. Not my own way, not the way of the flesh, but the way of the Spirit. Father, your will, your plan, your way.

Father, I dedicate my life to you in every area. You have a plan for me in every area of life. Thank you, Father, for the joy of obedience. I will obey you with joy. Father, I want to have the spirit of obedience in my life, not rebellion or pride, not resistance or hard-heartedness, but a soft, sensitive heart that is willing to do anything.
I rebuke rebellion and stubbornness in Jesus’ Name. Father, I say before your presence that I am willing to do anything you want me to do. No matter what man says, no matter what the world says, you have found a willing person. You have found an obedient person.

Father, I will do what you say all the way, just the way you say it, no more and no less, and with joy. Thank you, Father, for the spirit of faith and the spirit of obedience. And Father, thank you that your will will be fulfilled in my life to your glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
